Am I foodie? I love to talk about food, read books about food, watch shows about food, going out to eat is a hobby and cooking is really fun and exciting. I collect cookbooks and I try at times to make at home what I have ordered at a restaurant. This painting has a printed recipe within it. It is actually collaged into the surface. It is from a very old cookbook and set right smack in the middle! Salmon Fricasse explained in this link by the very glam Martha Stewart really sounds quite delicious. I added some wasabi (in color only) to the painting, which I think might be a good addition to the actual dish. You know, for a little spice! Why not?

Painted in Acrylic, collage and mixed media on Gesso board

This painting is unframed. ( some pictures may show it framed but it is not)

Signed, titled and dated on back of artwork.
